Teriyaki Fried Rice

Yields1 Serving

Ingredients

 2 tbsp vegetable oil
 1 onion, diced
 3 garlic cloves, minced
 4 cups green veggies, diced (broccoli, zucchini, celery, green peas, cabbage, bell pepper)
 3 cups cooked day old rice
 1 big handful iceberg lettuce, chopped
 2 tbsp soy sauce
 ½ tbsp toasted sesame oil
 ¼ tsp spices mix
 1 pack VG Gourmet Teriyaki Bites
To garnish
 1 bunch green onions
 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
 1 lime

Preparation

In a large wok or sauté pan, over medium-high heat, sauté the onion in vegetable oil. When translucent, add garlic and green vegetables

Add half of the soy sauce. Once nicely coloured, add the rice, the other half pf the soy sauce, sesame oil, 4 spices and Teriyaki Bites

Mix and let the rice fry before mixing again

Mix in the iceberg lettuce and allow to wilt

Serve in a bowl with green onions, toasted sesame seeds and lime juice
